"Wish Friday"

I asked my husband today, "If you could have one wish, what would you wish for?" He said, "To have zero worries". What's your wish today?

Orange Obsession

I watched an episode of an interior designing show where the woman had an obsession with the color orange. It reminded me of orange pages that I completed for a chunky, color theme book. Orange reminds me of joy. What does orange make you think of?

from the past

One thing that I love about creating photo books and/or visual art journals, is going through them after time has passed. I found this old, mini photo book that I created several years ago. It was fun to just look through my past thoughts and pictures. I encourage you today not to give up on your scrapbooking, art projects, or photography because someday it will be treasured by you and/or your family (yes, this is what I tell myself when I have no inspiration or projects are becoming the good, bad & most of all the ugly:)

Think Monday . . . . Think ATC

The theme for this week's TMTA challenge was friendship. I worked so late that I thought I wouldn't have time to create an ATC. I decided to just try to finish one and I ended up making two:)

Journal Page

I was reading art magazines in Barnes & Noble's cafe when I came across this quote in a magazine, "Nothing Endures But Change" by Heraclitus. I love this quote, it reminds me that there is hope. Everything is temporary. At this stage in my life, I am glad that this is true.

Directions/Credits: Painted background and used bubble wrap to cover areas of the paint. Then I added two of my pictures and used 7 gypsies calendar card to frame my picture. Then, I stamped with my favorite time stamp from Stampin Up.
