I recently reconnected with one of my closest friends (disconnected due to life taking us in different directions literally). I was so thrilled to hear from her. She asked me if I would be interested in swapping a travel journal (she said she was reading the magazine, Real Simple, and it was one of the ideas listed in how to stay connected). I, of course, loved the idea. I hope she doesn't think I'm crazy when she receives this non-traditional, homemade travel journal.The book is one of Tim Holtz, as well as the letters, the key, and I used his distress inks. If you love mixed-media art, look him up. He is one of my favorites.
