Ok, here is the man with the mustache ATC for this week's challenge. I noticed I had lots of photos of men from my photo sheets (from artchixstudio.com) because I had used all the women photos for collages!! This helped to stretch me a bit - thanks TMTA challenge.

TMTA
I'm going now to find a photo of a man with a mustache or beard for Think Monday, Think ATC. The only problem is I will find the photo on Monday, however it will be Think Monday, Complete Tuesday (oops - procrastination got the better of me tonight).

Travel Journal
The book is one of Tim Holtz, as well as the letters, the key, and I used his distress inks. If you love mixed-media art, look him up. He is one of my favorites.

Hard Work
My journal page from today. It was one of those Mondays that I counted down the minutes until the end of the day. It felt so good to work in the art room (not always possible during the week). One of my friends told me that she always makes certain that she has one thing to look forward to, each day. Here is to creating something to look forward to, even on a Monday:)

Journal Page
This is my journal page that took all of 20 minutes. I used black gesso for the page and a white paint marker for the writing. The middle image is a stamp from Paperbag Studio (www.paperbagstudios.com) and the word stamp, DREAM, is from Vap! scrap (I added the S). I loved the look of the black and white background. My daughter looked briefly at the journal page and said it looked depressing. But I still think it turned out better than my 2-3 hour canvas collage:) All in all, a great day in the art room.
