fun at the festival!-We had a great time today. I happened to hear about the Chile Festival in Hatch, NM this past week so we decided to take a trip to join the festivities. It was so much fun. The day was full of laughter and food sampling (i.e. chile mangos, jalepeno lemonade, green chili cheese chicken, & of course sampling of chiles!). We actually bought a box of freshly roasted green chiles & the aroma of the festival remained in the car for the entire drive home. If you are in southern New Mexico next year, I recommend that you check out the festival over Labor Day Weekend - very enjoyable!
oh lucky you! we get them here in Co too and roast them ourselves or buy them roasted. cannot wait to get to Taos and eat them there! have fun!
