I was experimenting with different background textures in my art journal today. When I lifted the plastic wrap (once the paint was dry) the outline looked like wings. It looked really cool, so I just went with it.
About the feelings attached to days. I never thought to ask her why she doesn't attach feelings to days. I was worried about my perspective because it shows that I don't embrace each and every day (however I really enjoy Friday, Saturday & Sunday:) I plan to work on waking up in the morning and celebrating every day, even Mondays!
Wings seem to be quite symbolic for you- even down to your branch of service. Interesting.

I only meant to say that you are not wrong to attach feelings to days. it is very common to do that when you have weekends to look forward to. I myself used to do it plenty!!!
now that I work as an artist every day, all days are good days
